A Highly Efficient Heating Option

Choosing a new furnace from one of the many different models that are now available can seem to be a difficult choice to make, but one of the best ways to make sure you get a furnace or heating system that will be highly efficient and will be able to keep your house heated to a good temperature no matter how cold the weather is to buy one from a well-known manufacturer. If you take a look at Rheem furnaces you will see that they have a good reputation, and can supply a wide range of models. These models include gas furnaces, and gas condensing boilers, and are likely to go a long way to keeping you warm in winter.

The first consideration you need to make is whether to buy a large furnace or a small compact one. This will very much depend on the size of your house, because a very big house will need a powerful furnace, probably one that is big enough to run a heating system and a hot water system into the bargain. It will need a very high BTU heat output, and a heating consultant will be able to give you the figure you need to look at in order to make sure you're getting the right size of furnace.

Digital thermostats

But it is not only furnace sizes that needs to be taken into account, but also some of the extras such as automatic ignition, and a digital thermostat. Automatic ignition can be essential on cold winter mornings when you want to have instant heat, while a digital thermostat will enable you to control the heat output to a very fine degree, setting the temperature in increments of 1° centigrade or less.

If you're looking for a powerful gas furnace, one that is a great water heater, there's the Rheem 715,000 BTU model, a commercial water heater with a 90 gallon watertank. Tis uses natural gas and has a 30 inch diameter and a 1 inch gas connection. Voltage is 120v, with a water temperature range of 100F to 180F. Also take a look at the Rheem G100-250. Retailing at approximately $7,700, this is a 100 gallon water heater, with a 250,000 BTU output. It has multiple water connectors, LED diagnostic system, spark-to-pilot ignition and provides water up to 180F.

Commercial water heaters

A slightly cheaper model, costing about $3,600, is the Rheem-Ruud G91-200LP, a commercial water heater, a LP gas heater providing 199,900 BTU output with 120V power. It includes a brass drain valve and T&P valve, along with spark-to-pilot ignition system and System Sentinel™ LED diagnostic system. It is a small jacket diameter heater so easy to install.;

In terms of an ambient temperature, a good thermostat will usually set the room temperature at about 21°C, which is about 72°F. This is warm enough for most people, though a large furnace will be able to supply more heat and take the temperature much higher if need be, so making sure that you have a programmable thermostat is very important, as this will enable you to turn the heat on automatically at anytime of the day.

Efficient heating system

When buying a Rheem furnace, as is the case with any furnace type, you also need in to take note of the AFUE rating, because this is a measure of the furnace power, and will also measure the power of a gas condensing boiler, for instance. You also need to take note of whether you're buying a highly-efficient heating system, since it is can really help to cut down on your heating bill. By looking at the various things available within this range of furnaces you will probably be able to find one that will heat your house to a good temperature and fit within your budget.

I think you will find you won't go wrong with installing a furnace from this company. I am thinking of replacing mine only because it is a fairly old model. I've been looking at some of the newest versions and I'm pretty impressed with what I have seen.

My friend has one of these installed and she says it is one of the best furnaces she has ever used. It really does keep the house very warm in winter. After reading a little bit more about this model I am seriously thinking about having one installed myself.
